What are we looking for in a Sous Chef?

A passion for cooking with fresh ingredients
Experience in a Michelin/Rosette establishment is preferred
Committed, enthusiastic and self motivated for the job
A great team player with the ability to stay calm under pressure and thrives in a fast paced environment
Someone who holds at least a Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene qualification

What does the role of Sous Chef entail?

Managing an award winning kitchen in the Head Chef’s and Senior Sous Chefs absence, ensuring food standards are maintained, stock control and team performance
Give ideas and input into seasonal fresh menus changes
Assist the Head Chef in ensuring the kitchen meets all its statutory requirements e.g. Health and Safety and Food Hygiene
Training staff to meet your high standards and exceed expectations
