Nursery Cook

An exciting new position for Nursery Cook has become available and we’re looking for an enthusiastic cook or chef to work with our client in the Great Barr area

About the Nursery Cook position

• Based in a day nursery setting
• Permanent role/Part time hours
• All year round contract
• Salary £9.50 per hour
• Preparing and cooking fresh meals for nursery aged children
• Ordering shopping weekly & managing shopping budgets
• Plan exciting menu’s each term
• Organising food quantity for meals orders each day
• Liaising & Reporting with the Nursery Manager
• Completing relevant paperwork & stop checks
• Working towards maintaining Level 5 food hygiene rating

Requirements for the Nursery Cook position

• Previous experience in a similar role desirable
• Must hold a minimum Level 2 food safety certificate
• Relevant knowledge of correct procedures for cleaning & food preparation/storage
